Here an Acrylic Tank is made / provided as a Main ank whose Water Level is to be measured. But while forming this Tank two of it walls, which are face to face, are provided with Metal Plates inside. So when the Tank is empty these two Metal Plates along with inside Air, forms a Capacitor. Linear scale is fitted on tank for visual reference.
